Meet our Global Trainees

In 2013 our first group of trainees started on their two year Global Trainee Program, consisting of 6-month rotations, including one abroad, and a number of training modules, and in 2014 we welcomed six additional trainees. Find out what some of our former trainees think about working at Husqvarna Group.

What attracted you to Husqvarna Group?

I was really interested in getting a position as a trainee in order to learn a lot about many functions in a company in a short period of time. I’m also excited to get to work in a company that has such interesting products.

What attracted you to Husqvarna Group?

I’ve been looking for this type of opportunity for some time and a friend of mine recommended me to apply for the Husqvarna Group trainee program. As I studied in Jönköping I had heard about the Group, but wasn’t sure if the Group was what I was looking for. Therefore, I took the opportunity to ask as many questions as I could during my interview for the traineeship and discovered that Husqvarna Group is an ever changing company that can be very interesting to work at.

Tyler Fuller

Attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and received a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He will be working with North America's Manufacturing & Logistics department.

What attracted you to Husqvarna Group? Why did you want to work here?

I was attracted to Husqvarna Group because it offers a great learning environment for someone new in manufacturing.  I grew up with a dad that had me cutting 5 to 6 acres of grass every week including weed eating, edging and blowing off the driveway, so it's nice to work with products you are familiar with.  I wanted to work for Husqvarna because they are a large global company, well known and offer great job security.  After interviewing and talking with employees, I learned that management was very supportive and open to any ideas that could make their company better.

I have always been fascinated with mechanical products and Husqvarna is a really strong and attractive brand, producing desirable products that everyone can relate to. I think Husqvarna Group achieves a well-balanced combination of heritage and innovation. Also, I consider Husqvarna Group's truly global presence together with the opportunities presented by the Trainee program to be very attractive.

What attracted you to Husqvarna Group? Why did you want to work here?

Husqvarna Group is a world-famous company, I heard of it even back in Belarus. Then I worked in Sweden as a translator in 2009 and really liked the people and the innovative approach. And the fact that the company has a trainee program means that it treats personal development of its employees seriously and that it is interested in every trainee reaching their top potential. This is a very attractive quality in an employer.

I know the brand Husqvarna and its products from when I was little. I want to work for a company whom I can highly identify myself with. I know the kind of clientele the company is working with and like the type of product range as well. This combination attracted me to a company as Husqvarna Group.
