Over the past few years, Khaled Abbara's journey has been a constant flow of new experiences and learnings, having left Syria to move to Sweden. In Gothenburg, Husqvarna Group opened the doors to his professional life, in his new homeland. What started as an internship quickly transitioned into a position as Test Engineer, specializing in battery construction products. Thinking back on his five years at Husqvarna Group so far, Khaled Abbara describes it as an educative, somewhat challenging, yet highly rewarding experience.

The whole company is actively transitioning towards electrifying its business operations and to be part of this transformative team effort is incredibly satisfying for Khaled.
As a Test Engineer, Khaled works both independently and in collaboration with colleagues.
– My responsibilities include running tests on various components and features to identify potential technical issues, and I have a key role in ensuring that both new and existing products meet the technical quality and quality objectives. We must be fast, thorough, and flexible in order to succeed. And when the unexpected happens, I appreciate all the help and support I always receive from my colleagues.
According to Khaled, it is highly rewarding to work at a company that actively develops new technology while taking responsibility for future generations. For example, Husqvarna Group arranges internal arenas where different departments get to present new technologies. Khaled consistently finds himself impressed by the cutting-edge innovations that are presented during these sessions and how they contribute to sustainable development.
– We're committed to enhancing the quality of our products, but not at the expense of our planet. We are determined to go that extra mile and want each product to be as good as possible – for our customers and the environment. Being able to contribute to the things I truly believe in makes work much more interesting and rewarding for me. And what’s most inspiring is that I’m not alone in this, I share this sense of purpose with my passionate colleagues.
