Husqvarna Continues to exhibit Innovation Through Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed Partership

Husqvarna Group proudly reaffirms its commitment to fostering equality, sustainability, and innovation through its partnership with the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed taking place this weekend. It is the second year of a three-year partnership, building upon the success and values highlighted previous year, where women and men compete equally for the same prize.

The first year of the partnership was a testament to Husqvarna Group’s unwavering support for initiatives that champion diversity and environmental stewardship. Through collaborative efforts with the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed, we showcased how sports can serve as a powerful platform for driving positive change. As the main partner for Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed 2024, Husqvarna Group once again takes center stage in promoting these core values. This year's tournament, hosted at the renowned Vasatorp Golf Club in southern Sweden, provides an ideal setting to showcase the Group’s commitment to expanding the Husqvarna brand into the golf industry and as the leader in autonomous green space technology.

One of the most significant innovations making an impact on Vasatorp's fairways is Husqvarna CEORA – the revolutionary robotic lawnmower that caters to areas as large as 75 000m2. CEORA epitomizes Husqvarna’s vision of disrupting traditional lawn care practices and revolutionizing the way the world mows lawns. With its advanced autonomous technology, CEORA delivers precise and efficient mowing, while significantly reducing environmental footprint and operational costs.

In just a short span, Husqvarna Group has made remarkable strides in the golf industry, with approximately 20% of Swedish golf courses now utilizing the Group’s lawnmowers on or around their fairways. A large share of USA’s most prominent golf courses has also taken the step towards automated lawnmowing. This rapid adoption underscores the trust and confidence that golf courses place in our innovative solutions to meet their evolving needs.

Husqvarna Group is a pioneer in robotic lawnmowing, introducing the world's first robotic lawnmower in 1995, and has remained the undisputed market leader in automated lawn care solutions since then. The group’s ambition is to double sales from SEK 6 billion to 12 billion by 2026.
