Husqvarna Group named Diversity Leader second year in a row

We are very proud to have been named a Diversity Leader by Financial Times for the second year in a row. As a nice bonus, we have also climbed to a top 10 ranking among Swedish companies this year.

In April last year, we at Husqvarna Group launched our Diversity & Inclusion strategy, which has given us clear and ambitious targets as an organization. Increasing our efforts within this area is crucial for us - to attract and retain the best talent and future-proof our company.

“We are very happy and proud to receive this recognition. There is unanimous conviction in our organization that it is through different perspectives that we create a company built to last. What makes me most proud, is hearing the active dialogue in the Group about D&I, seeing the ongoing efforts our organization is taking, and hearing from employees using our D&I tools in their teams. To change, we need to take action and do things differently. We are on our way, and will keep it up and keep changing!”, says Leigh Dagberg, EVP People & Organization and Diversity & Inclusion sponsor at Husqvarna Group.

The ranking foundation, based on independent surveys of more than 100,000 employees across the continent, focus on their employer's diversity and inclusion practices. The result boiled down to a list of 850 companies recognized as business leaders in gender, ethnicity, disability, age, and sexual orientation in the workforce.

"We aim to be a fun, passionate, and innovative workplace where all employees feel they belong. Our different perspectives will help us make the best decisions possible and drive our business forward," says Franco Perez, Diversity & Inclusion Manager, Husqvarna Group.
