Why partner with us?
Husqvarna Group has been spearheading innovation for 334 years: a proud legacy that we intend to continue. As a world-leading manufacturer of innovative products and solutions for forest, park and garden management we offer an unprecedented global manufacturing and sales reach combined with highly skilled R&D teams.
We are a big company with an entrepreneurial soul. We’re curious, fast moving and willing to try out things we believe will challenge and move our industry forward. We are in the midst of a giant shift to robotics, digitalization and electrification. This shift will lead us into new types of collaborative ecosystems and business models. Along with our partners, we want to be at the forefront of this evolution, creating great new experiences for our customers and stakeholders, as well as new ways of taking better care of our planet.
Gamma Technologies
Gamma AR is disrupting the construction industry by bringing 3D Building Information Models (BIM) models intuitively to the construction site, overlaying them as “holograms” and attaching infrastructure information from the site directly to these models. Gamma utilizes its augmented reality technology to overlay BIM models on contractors’ mobile handsets displaying the otherwise unseen infrastructure. Gamma’s BIM / AR software is used to guide operators on where to cut, drill, etc., therefore reducing both planning time and the chances of performing work in the wrong place, which is costly.
“The investment from Husqvarna Group will accelerate the revolution of the construction industry and spread awareness about the benefits of using AR technologies on the jobsite. We are excited to start working with Husqvarna Group on the implementation of innovative technology in the construction industry.”
Franklin Robotics
Created by Joe Jones (the inventor behind the Roomba robotic vacuum cleaner), Franklin Robotics’ Tertill is a robot designed to roam around your garden and take care of the weeding, come rain or shine. With Tertill, gardeners can avoid the monotony and frustration of weeding and stick to more enjoyable tasks in their vegetable patches and flower beds. Organic gardeners can breathe easy and enjoy a weed-free, chemical-free garden all season long.
“Husqvarna Group is a world leader in outdoor mobile robots; their worldwide presence, deep technical knowledge, and culture of innovation made them a great partner and a natural fit for us as we grow.”
Soil Scout
Soil Scout provides a buried wireless soil monitoring system that optimizes water consumption and energy usage in green spaces. This digitalized agricultural IoT device has the only wireless sensors capable of transmitting moisture, temperature and salinity data in near real-time, monitoring out-of-sight performance up to 2 meters below the surface for up to 20 years without any maintenance.
“Husqvarna Group, with its global footprint and leading position in robotics and digital solutions for green spaces, is a perfect industrial partner for Soil Scout as we continue our growth journey. Despite being a large corporation, they are very entrepreneurial and open to explore innovative solutions.”
MowBot
Mowbot is a full-service lawn care provider franchise that was created with one mission in mind: to disrupt the lawn care industry, which hasn’t seen any significant changes in decades. The increased focus on climate change and objections against noise pollution create the perfect breeding ground for a new and innovative lawn care concept like Mowbot. By using Husqvarna’s robotic lawn mowers, Mowbot is also able to avoid the main issue traditional lawn care companies are struggling with these days: the shortage of labor.
“I’ve been involved in franchising for over 10 years, and this is the first time I’ve seen an emerging technology [the robotic lawn mower] married to a proven business model and world-class franchisee support. We’re taking all the infrastructure we’ve designed to support our other franchise brands, and we’re applying it to a technology that is going to change the way lawns are managed in the US.”
